Captain Jerry has been sailing since he was 2 years old. He has sailed throughout the Northeast U.S. A. and Caribbean and has undertaken several Trans-Atlantic crossings. He holds a 100-ton U.S.C.G. license and is also a NAUI Scuba Diving Instructor and PADI Divemaster as well as a US Sailing Instructor. One of Jerry's great loves is teaching and is authorized to issue sailing certificates after any of his courses. He is also an avid watersports enthusiast who enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. Jerry teaches many different Scuba courses from first time resort courses to full- or advanced-diving certifications. He is a gregarious sort and loves meeting people and sharing his state-of-the-art Catamaran with guests.
By adding native New England flair to many favorite dishes, Diane, Braveheart's chef shares her 10 years of culinary experience for a wonderful sailing/culinary adventure. Her fine dining resume is extensive, including a management position with the well known McCormick and Schmick's company in California. Wishing to explore all possibilities, she accepted a position as hostess of a small hotel in the central mountains Puerto Rico. Later, Diane added to her Caribbean education, by working as manager of Iggie's Beach Bar in Bolongo Bay. Her love of travel has taken her backpacking the streets of Europe to sailing down the Venzuelan Islands and the Grenadines. She has made her homin the Virgin Islands for the past 3 years. Whether cooking, snorkeling or playing Scrabble, Diane's infectious laugh and contagious enthusiasm create a fun atmosphere for adults and children alike.
